About Brandon Heggie
Brandon Heggie, is a Captain Firefighter Paramedic, EMS Educator, and Podcast Host with nearly two decades of experience serving his community. Known for his ability to simplify high-acuity medicine without losing its depth, Brandon specializes in emergency airway management, leadership under pressure, and the kind of critical decision-making that only comes from real-world experience. A sought-after national speaker, he has delivered dynamic presentations on everything from imposter syndrome to empathetic medicine, equipping EMS providers, corporate leaders, and students with practical tools for confidence, clarity, and human-centered care. Through his Medic on the Micpodcast, he brings candid conversations to the forefront — exploring growth, resilience, and the realities of emergency medicine in an honest, accessible way.
Beyond the badge, Brandon is driven by a deep commitment to personal development, holistic self-care, and helping others reconnect with their purpose. After navigating his own challenges, he now blends functional medicine coaching, mindfulness, and grounded real-world wisdom into his educational style. Together with his wife Dani — a massage therapist, hypnotherapist, and co-creator of the Empathetic Medicine movement — Brandon is building both online learning experiences and physical retreat spaces on their Pacific Northwest homestead to support healing, growth, and community. Whether he’s teaching, coaching, writing, or podcasting, Brandon’s mission is simple: empower people to lead more intentional lives, make better decisions under pressure, and thrive — in their work, their relationships, and themselves.
